Give your father a handmade Father's Day card this year. Here's a card that is easy and quick. The materials shown below are from the Stampin' Up! company, although you can substitute with similar materials found in your local craft store.

From Quick Guide: Father's Day Guide
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Card stock in the following colors: Mellow Moss, Very Vanilla, and Basic Black
  • Paper cutter or scissors
  • Bone folder
  • Double-sided tape or glue
  • Foam tape
  • Black ink stamp pad
  • Designer paper from the Holiday Harmony series
  • "Happy Father's Day" stamp (from the All-Year Cheer II set)
  1. Step 1

Cut a piece of Mellow Moss card stock in half, so that you have 2 pieces, each 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches long. You will use 1 piece for your card, and you can save the other for another project.

  2. Step 2

Fold the Mellow Moss card stock in half, using the bone folder for the crease.

  3. Step 3

Cut 2 triangles of the Designer Paper from the Holiday Harmony series (see photo). The triangles should be 6 3/4 inches at the base. The longer side should be 5 1/2 inches, and the short side should be 4 1/8 inches.

  4. Step 4

Use double-sided tape or glue to affix the triangles to the front of the card.

  5. Step 5

Cut a small rectangle of Very Vanilla card stock (about 1 3/4 by 1 1/4 inches long) on which you will stamp "Happy Father's Day" using black ink.

  6. Step 6

Cut a rectangle of Basic Black card stock that is just slightly larger than the Very Vanilla rectangle (about 1 7/8 inches by 1 5/8 inches).

  7. Step 7

Use glue or double-sided tape to affix the Very Vanilla rectangle onto the Basic Black rectangle.

  8. Step 8

Use foam tape to affix the back of the Basic Black rectangle to the card as shown in the photo.
