This is just a short list of tips to help you run a smooth and fun mystery dinner party. Remember that this is just a game and all for fun. No one has to be an actor to have a great time.

• guests that will show up and play along
• 2 1/2-3 hours of time to play
• a great 3-4 course meal

2. Plan at least 2-3 weeks in advance If you give yourself this time, you won't rush yourself to shop, get a menu together, think of your costume, etc.

4. Encourage your guests to dress up in costume The game is so much more fun when everyone gets into it by dressing up.
