How to Make a Lollipop Flower
Lollipops are not only fun to eat; they are fun to decorate. Use a lollipop as a flower base for a party favor or a gift bouquet. Many variations of lollipop flowers are available; transform lollipop suckers into a beautiful, edible flowers.
Things You'll Need
- Heavyweight paper
- Silk flowers
- Lollipops (assorted flavors and shapes)
- Adhesive
- Flower template
- Scissors

Trace a flower onto your card stock and carefully cut out the flower shape. Glue a flat sucker or lollipop in the middle of the flower; you can use the lollipop stick as the flower stem.

Make five heart shapes and fold the hearts in half to resemble flower petals. Punch a hole in the bottom of the heart shapes and bunch them together so the holes line up. Thread the lollipop sticks through the punched holes. Glue the bottom of the hearts to your lollipop (round lollipops work best for this flower). Spread the hearts out around the lollipop to make the flower petals.

Buy silk flowers and take out the middle sections of the flowers. Using a small round lollipop sucker, place the stick of the sucker through the middle hole of the silk flower and glue the flower to the base of the lollipop.

Use these varieties of lollipop flowers to make a bouquet or give them alone with a greeting card for a special treat.

Tips & Warnings
When gluing the lollipop to the flower, make sure you only put glue on the paper and don't use anything that will melt through to the candy.
Use embellishments like glitter, stamps and ribbon to decorate your paper flowers to give them sparkle and character.
Lollipop flowers work well for centerpieces and party favors as well as Mother's Day or Valentine gifts.
