1
Purchase the appropriate type of wax and follow the instructions included for heating the wax before use. Heat European wax at a lower temperature than many other types of hair removal waxes.
-
2
Clean the skin and do not use lotions or self-tanners for several days prior to waxing. Lotions keep the wax from sticking to the hair.
-
-
3
Test the wax with a finger to make sure it is not too hot for the skin before applying.
-
4
Spread a small amount of wax on part of the leg. Make sure to put on plenty of wax. Wax a small section to test for allergic reactions before doing a larger area.
-
5
Peel the European wax from the leg once it has completely dried and hardened. Pull it in the direction opposite the growth of the hair. Grip the wax at the bottom and pull in a quick motion. No waxing strips are necessary with this technique.

6
Apply a post-waxing lotion or oil to prevent irritation and help close skin pores.
