Creating your own wedding bouquet is a terrific way to ensure you get exactly what you want and keep your costs under control. Pageant style bouquets, also known as presentation style bouquets, can be changed if you aren't happy with the outcome, as nothing is secured until the bouquet is complete.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Prepare the flowers you want to include in your pageant bridal bouquet. Choose flowers that have attractive and sturdy stems, as these are visible in a pageant style bouquet.

  2. Step 2

Remove any thorns or unwanted leaves from the flower stems, but be careful to keep the leaves and petals intact.

  3. Step 3

Start the bouquet with a flower that has small petals as it will be the top of the bouquet. Hold the flower securely between the thumb and fingers of your non-dominant hand, leaving your dominant hand free to adjust the flowers and stems you select.

  4. Step 4

Build your bouquet by gradually adding more flowers in a variety of colors. When putting together a wedding bouquets, you'll usually want delicate shading rather than sharp color contrast, but you still want a nice blend to run throughout.

  5. Step 5

Continue to add flowers in a basic triangle form, laying each flower slightly below the flower above it, to achieve a pageant style bouquet that will be held flat against the brides arm. Fill the space fully as a wedding bouquet should be extravagant.

  6. Step 6

Adjust the flowers until you've achieved a bouquet shape and fullness that suits your particular style. Once you've done that, wrap the stems together to secure them using florist wire.
