1
Cover the entire eyelid from lash line to eyebrow with a light colored highlighter shade to start off your daytime look. Use a wide, flat shadow brush.
-
2
Apply a medium shade across the crease of your eye with a contouring brush. Smudge the line a little to make the color effect more subtle.

3
Use your darkest eye shadow as liner. Dampen a thin, pointed brush and line the top of your eye right next to the last line. You need to hold the brush as if it were a writing pen. If you find this awkward, use a soft eye pencil instead.
-
4
Blend all the shades with the wide brush using soft, circular motions. This will erase any demarcation in color.
-
5
Roll on a coat of mascara. Let it dry, and then apply a second coat.

Tips & Warnings
You should always wear complementary colors in different intensities, such as a soft taupe, a medium brown and a dark brown. All three colors should blend together effortlessly for a great fashion statement.
For an extra fashion pop, or if you have naturally small eyes, add a bit of the highlighter shade below the arch of your brow.
