Use Spoons to De-Puff Eyes

We have all woken up in the morning, at one point, to the horrid look of puffy eyes. Whether it was caused by crying, a late night out, allergies, or all of thee above, you can quickly minimize the “puff” with simple teaspoons.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Puffy Eyes
  • Two Metal Teaspoons
  • A Freezer
  1. Step 1

As soon as you wake up and notice the puffs around your eyes, go to your kitchen and place two metal teaspoons in the freezer. You should allow them to sit in the freezer for at least 5-minutes, but the longer the better.

  2. Step 2

While the spoons freeze, begin your morning regime of breakfast, coffee, showering, washing your face, etc.

  3. Step 3

Once the time has passed, remove the now frozen teaspoons from the freezer. Carry them to the bathroom and set them on the bathroom counter.

  4. Step 4

Check around your eyes and make sure they are completely dry. Once you have ensured that your eye area is completely dry, take the spoons and place the bottom part of the spoons on your eyes, rolling them back and forth gently.

  5. Step 5

Once the coldness of the back of the spoon dissipates, turn the spoons over to the scooped side and place on your eyes again. The two applications should be sufficient in reducing enough of the puffiness.

  6. Step 6

Follow up with a good de-puffing eye cream or gel.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not apply the frozen spoons multiple times and if the applications cause pain or discomfort stop the process immediately.
