Things You'll Need:
- A picture hanging kit (This can be gotten in most hardware departments and includes wire, eye screws and small nails)
- Pliers
-
Step 1
Decide where your wire will go on the frame. Divide the frame into thirds. The wire should be in the upper third of the frame.
-
Step 2
Measure the wire. The wire should be about six inches longer than the width of the frame.
-
Step 3
Put the eye screws into the wood of the frame on each side. Make sure that they are even and make sure that they do not go all the way through the frame.
-
Step 4
Thread the wire through one of the eye screws, leaving a few inches of extra at the end. Twist the extra wire around the wire you strung through the eye screw using pliers.
-
Step 5
Thread the wire through the other eye screw. Before you twist it, make sure that the wire has a little give, but not enough that when it is hanging the wire goes above the frame's edge.
-
Step 6
Twist the end of the wire around the wire you threaded.
