1. Unearth an old box of your keepsakes to see what grandmother has sent you over the years. Many people save special occasion cards, letters or trinkets from their relatives. Create a shadow box featuring one of these special items to honor her with a gift for Mother's Day. Accent the box with a pull-out quote of your grandmother's favorite saying.

2. Sing songs about grandmothers. Print out song lyrics and hand them out to everyone in attendance so they can sing along with the music. Play the music on a CD player or on an iPod hooked up to your stereo system. Have everyone gather around your grandmother while they honor her with a song.

3. Involve the grandchildren in whatever celebration process you choose. Nothing is more heartfelt to a grandmother than spending time with her grandchildren. Whether they arrive with gifts or treats, just be sure they stay long enough to give their grandmother the best gift yet: quality time.

Create a card or tag to go in the flower bouquet detailing the history and meaning of the flower and how your grandmother has given you faith.

Seek out a photo of your grandparents' wedding day, or one with her and her children or a school portrait that might have been damaged over the years.
