Sit in a comfortable position on the side of your bed or on a sofa where your ankle is within easy reach. Rub your ankles in a circular motion with a soft, dry washcloth to remove loose flakes of dead skin.

    • 2

Mix a few drops of water with some salt or sugar to create a grainy mixture. Rub the mixture on your ankles, massaging them as you go.

    • 3

Remove the grainy mixture from your ankles with a wet washcloth. Rinse the cloth well and repeat until you remove all of the mixture.
