The smell of home baked cookies is always welcome and this awesome cookie bowl is always a hit at birthday parties. Eat the treats and when you run out, you can eat the bowl.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Roll out the cookie dough between 2 sheets of waxed paper to a 1-inch thickness. Make sure the dough is cold.
Step2
Cut round shapes out of the dough with the cookie cutter or glass.
Step3
Turn the bowl upside down. Cover it with aluminum foil and grease the foil.
Step4
Place one of the cookie dough circles on the bottom of the overturned bowl. Drape the other cookies over the rest of the bowl, overlapping the cookies and gently pressing the edges together. Only cover the bowl with dough about halfway, as the dough will rise in the oven.
Step5
Reroll the remaining dough and cut small shapes out of it. Place them on a separate cookie sheet.
Step6
Bake the small shapes for six minutes and the bowl for about 15 minutes until the edges turn slightly brown. Transfer to a cooling rack.
Step7
Use frosting to attach the shapes to the outside of the bowl. Carefully lift the cookie bowl from the foil-lined bowl and fill with treats.
