Things You’ll Need:
- Poles
- Grommet kit if your net doesn't already have them
- strong wire 1/2"
- Post hole diggers
- Concrete
- String
- wooden stakes
- Caribineers
- Level
- ladder
- 2 wire clamps
Step1
Set up two wooden stakes, one where you want the net to start, the other where you want it to end.
Step2
Tie the string tight between the two wooden stakes. This will give you your straight line.
Step3
Take the post hole diggers and start digging where you want your poles to go. Be sure to check for underground wires and pipes before you dig.
Step4
Drill a hole at the top of the poles to run the wire through the holes.
Step5
Place the poles in the ground according to the height you want them to be.
Step6
Level the poles with a level making sure they are straight both ways. Make sure the poles are deep enough in the ground that they will stand up without falling.
Step7
Mix the cement with water to the appropriate thickness and pour into the holes.
Step8
Let the cement dry.
Step9
Take the ladder and run the wire through the holes
Step10
Make a loop at both ends of your wire and clamp it with a wire clamp.
Step11
Run two come-alongs to the two loops of wire, put your ground eye-hooks into the ground and hook the other end of your come-along to the eye hooks.
Step12
Tighten the wire by tightening the two come-alongs.
Step13
Use the caribineers to hook through the grommets and then hook the net to the wire above and your net will be set!
