Have you ever taped up a car window with Duct Tape to find that when you took the tape off it left a sticky white residue. Well, here is how you remove it!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • WD40
  • an old rag
  1. Step 1

First, spray WD40 into an old rag.

  2. Step 2

Wipe the sticky area with the rag until the sticky residue comes off.

  3. Step 3

If the residue does not come off right away, just apply more WD40 to the rag and continue.

Tips & Warnings
  • WD40 will leave a greasy film on the surface. To get rid of that film use a standard cleaner for in house items and a standard interior cleaner for the interior of cars. If the residue is on the outside of the car, just go to your local car wash. The soap will take the greasy film right off.
  • Try to keep WD40 away from windows. It will leave a cloudy film.
