How to Exhibit Your Toys at New York City’s Toy Fair

Step1
Attend a Toy Fair before deciding to exhibit at the following year's Fair. In particular, pay attention to new inventor booths and Toy Fair’s newly launched.
Step2
If you have the discretionary cash and a great toy that you’ve invented, you may want to spring for a booth at the Toy Fair. To reserve a booth or ask for information about showing your product at the Fair, contact one of the following TIA sales team members:

For alphabetical last names A-F: Bill Osterholm – bosterhom@toyassociation.org

For alphabetical last names G-O: Leigh Rhein – lrhein@toyassociation.org

For alphabetical last names P-Z: Ava Slepikoff – aslepikoff@toyassociation.org

Note that a booth will cost $21 per sq ft for TIA members.
Step3
In order to best showcase their product, first-time Toy Fair exhibitors are assigned a show advisor to assist them in every step of the way.
Step4
If you don’t have the cash to purchase booth space, apply for the Inventor Center to exhibit with a group of new inventors at a lower fee than the standard booth fee. Note that your product must first be screened by INPEX and TIA. Contact an INPEX representative at 888-54-INPEX for more information.
Step5
If you can’t afford any sort of presence at the Toy Fair, contact a toy broker or toy manufacturer representative. They’ll represent your product at the Fair for a healthy percentage of advances and royalties.

Tips & Warnings

  • To exhibit at Toy Fair in any capacity, your invention must either be patented or patent pending.
