Who says football is only for the guys? When it's Superbowl time, break out the chips and fluff up the couches, because you can throw a women-only Superbowl party that your friends will enjoy, and maybe start your own new "girl time" tradition in the process. Give your friends advance notice, and then surprise them with an unusual spin on the average Superbowl Sunday. Here are some unique ideas to help make your all-girl Superbowl party more feminine.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Women's magazines, crosswords, personality quizzes
  • Facials, moisturizers, toenail polish
  • Food, drink, snacks and desserts
Step1
Send out invitations for your Superbowl party a few weeks in advance to your best girlfriends. Let them know it will be girls-only, and tell them to dress in their most comfortable clothes.
Step2
Provide a variety of deli foods (meats, salads, fruit) as well as drinks (water, beer, wine, soda) buffet-style for guests to enjoy. Of course there should be snack foods, and several sugary choices for the sweet-toothed members of your pack.
Step3
Set up the couches with lots of pillows for a cozy viewing of the game. Have puzzle books, personality quizzes or gossip magazines on the coffee table for viewers who want to watch while reading junky magazines, or doing quizzes or crosswords.
Step4
Use half-time for beauty treatments if you like. Provide the products for doing facials, moisturizing masks, finger and toenail painting and footrubs.
