If you have ever eaten at the Macaroni Grill, you have indulged in a slice (or four or five) of their delicious rosemary bread. This recipe is a duplicate of Macaroni Grill' s, and it is so easy. This has to be the best bread!!! Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 3 tbs olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbs rosemary

Instructions

    • 1

      In a medium/large bowl, mix yeast with warm water. Wait five minutes.

      Add the sugar, flour, salt and oil. Knead, knead, knead!!

    • 3

      Add the herbs and pepper. Knead into dough until blended.

    • 4

      Place dough in an oiled bowl to rise for about an hour. After one hour, punch dough down and let rise for another 30 minutes or so.

      Bake at 370* for about 25-35 minutes, or until top is golden.

Tips & Warnings

  • When the bread is done, it should sound hollow when tapped.

  • Serve with olive oil and cracked pepper for dipping.
