How to Block a Website in Internet Explorer

Blocking websites in Internet Explorer comes in handy when children are surfing the Web on your computer. Block websites you don't want them to access, and rest assured when you are away from the computer when they are using it.

Instructions

1. Open Internet Explorer. Click on the "Tools" tab and select the "Internet Options" tab.

2. Click "Content" and select "Enable" found under the title "Content Advisor."

3. Disable the website. From the "Content Advisor," click on the "Approved Sites" tab and enter the URL of the website you wish to block. Click the "Never" tab and submit the change by adding a password you will be able to remember easily.
