Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tickets to your favorite theme park
  • Good walking shoes
  • A light jacket
  • A camera
  1. Step 1

Have dinner in Downtown Disney. Downtown Disney is free to the public, so you don't need tickets to enjoy this Disney venue. Head here for dinner at the House of Blues, the Rainforest Cafe, or Planet Hollywood for a special celebration.

  2. Step 2

Enjoy the live music and entertainment at Universal CityWalk. You don't need tickets to enjoy the festive atmosphere at Universal CityWalk, and the countdown celebration here is one of the city's best.

  3. Step 3

Watch the fireworks from Lake Eola park. The Magic Kingdom isn't the only place to take in some of the best fireworks displays in the city! Lake Eola park in downtown Orlando is a popular spot for local events and gatherings, and is another venue for New Year's Eve fireworks.

  4. Step 4

Take a cruise on Disney's Boardwalk. Head to Disney's Boardwalk for a New Year's Eve cruise and take in this classic '40s-inspired entertainment venue for a fun-filled night. From arcades to traditional buildings, there's plenty to explore at this Disney venue on New Year's Eve.

  5. Step 5

Countdown to the New Year at Universal Studios. The Universal Studios celebration gets bigger and better each and every year, so head here for a night of over-the-top celebration if this is your favorite theme park.

  6. Step 6

Countdown the New Year at the Magic Kingdom. Join Mickey and the gang for a fun-filled night of parties, special fireworks displays, and a great family-friendly atmosphere.

  7. Step 7

Dance the night away at Disney's Pleasure Island. This is a great place for adults to toast to the New Year with live music, champagne, and plenty of dancing opportunities at each restaurant and club. Head here if you want to spend most of New Year's Day celebrating too!

  8. Step 8

Jump onto the Ferris wheel in Downtown Kissimmee. It's a special night at this venue where it's a party every weekend regardless of the time of year. New Year's Eve celebrations here include fireworks, live music, and plenty of great food and fun for the whole family.
