    Ghost Hunting in California

  1. Step 1

Start your ghost hunting trip with a visit to the historic Winchester Mansion in San Jose. The story of this rifle heir is well-known, and the mansion has been investigated by TAPS. Check it out for yourself and hear the ghost stories from the staff of the home.

  2. Step 2

Golden Gate Park in San Francisco is a nice park visited by tourist and locals alike. Don't speed through it, however, or you may get pulled over by a "ghost cop." It's said that people have been ticketed by a police officer who turns out to be dead now for over 10 years! Spooky!

  3. Step 3

Alcatraz is another famous haunted location in San Francisco and a tour there will take you past supposedly haunted cells and cold spots. Ask the tour guide to relate his personal experiences and don't forget to get a souvenir!

  4. Step 4

Before you leave California make a stop in Sacramento! This beautiful community is home to the Sacramento Theater Company, which is said to be the most haunted location in Sacramento. Five ghosts will entertain you with footsteps, pink orbs and flickering lights!
