Delete Photos From a Fuji FinePix E510 Digital Camera

With the advent of the digital camera, we can finally snap photos without a second thought, even if it means we end up with 300 shots of “that really pretty tree.” But when your camera’s memory card starts filling up or you’re thinking about developing some of those great shots, the time for second thoughts has arrived. Follow these quick steps to delete photos from your Fuji FinePix E510 digital camera.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Fuji FinePix E510 digital camera
  1. Step 1

On the back of your camera, move the switch down from the red camera symbol to the green arrow symbol.

  2. Step 2

On the top of your camera, press the POWER button.

  3. Step 3

Using the left and right arrow keys on the back of your camera, move through your photos to select the first photo you want to delete.

  4. Step 4

On the back of your camera, press MENU/OK.

  5. Step 5

Using the arrow key pointing up, select FRAME and then press MENU/OK.

  6. Step 6

You will now see, on your screen, the words ERASE OK? Press MENU/OK.

  7. Step 7

The camera will automatically ask you if you want to erase the next photo. If you do, press MENU/OK, but if you don’t, press the BACK button.

Tips & Warnings
  • It’s easy to accidentally press MENU/OK again after deleting a photo. Make sure you actually want to delete the next photo before you hit MENU/OK. Remember that you need to press the BACK button to exit the delete mode.
