How to Tell if Your Abdominal Bloating is Normal

  1. Step 1

Observe the abdominal bloating for a few days and get a feel of what this might be caused by.

  2. Step 2

Drink more water than usual in order to flush and cleanse your system. This could be caused from constipation. Many times with females it is also contributed by PMS. The water will also help with the constipation.

Drinking a lot of soda pop, alcohol or eating beans or peas can be big contributors to bloating. Watch the intake of these and see if the bloating subsides any.

  4. Step 4

Watch for abdominal pain that could be accompanied with the bloating or if the bloating reoccurs often. This could be normal but it could also be a sign of Crohn's Disease or ovarian cancer.
