Peyton Manning

Born March 24, 1976 in New Orleans, Louisiana, Peyton Manning is more than just your average National Football League quarterback. He holds the NFL record for most touchdown passes in a single season and was Super Bowl XLI MVP. He is also highly regarded for his charitable work with the Peyback Foundation for disadvantaged kids. Step 1

Visit Peyton’s website (see Resouces below). From childhood to his current career with the Colts, this is everything you wanted to know about Peyton Manning and more. For example, he was the Gatorade Circle of Champions National Player of the Year in high school. A little known fact, except maybe to all the true Peyton fanatics.
Step 2

Watch him play. Tune in to Colts games or see his skills in person at home and away games. Discover why he was the NFL’s first-round draft pick in 1998. And why today he leads the Colts franchise in all-time career yard and touchdown passing.
Step 3

Buy his No. 18 replica jersey. Everyone else in Indy seems to have one so why not you, too?
Step 4

Take it to the next level with a cardboard cutout of the man himself. Or for a more subtle approach, buy a poster or download wallpaper of No. 18 for computer desktops. This drives Colts-hating co-workers crazy.
Step 5

Manning pre-Colts

Learn about Peyton's college career at the University of Tennessee where he was the all-time leading passer with 11,201 yards, 863 completions and 89 touchdowns. He narrowly won the Heisman Trophy in 1997 and was chosen as the top amateur athlete in the U.S. the same year. Research back even further to his high school and younger years.
Step 6

Watch his commercials. This shouldn’t be too much of a problem, as Peyton has prime-time personality many football players lack. Unless you don't have a TV to tune in. Then try YouTube. He's everywhere.

on 8/14/2008 Peyton is a great QB and future Hall-of-Famer .. It's nice to watch him play because you are wathcing a perfectionist .. He's the only QB ever that actually studies when the defense is on the field, all game long .. I've never seen that before .. not even from the great Joe Montana ..
