This is not only a quick recipe, but healthy for everyone in the family. Even children will like it. The blended flavors of the Italian and Cajun are very unique in this recipe. If you find you need more breading or Cajun seasoning to get the flavor you like, than feel free to just add the extra seasonings to fit your taste.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Olive oil
  • 12 oz. Of Ocean Perch (or any other you would like)
  • 1 1/2 cups of Italian fine bread crumbs (you may use more if you like the breading thicker)
  • Salt (to your taste)
  • 2 tbsp. Cajun seasoning
  • Lemon juice
  1. Step 1

    Heat oven to 450 F.

  2. Step 2

Line a 9x13 baking dish with foil making sure to have enough to close on top of the fish. By doing it this way the cleanup is very quick, but it will help the fish to cook faster.

  3. Step 3

Drizzle olive oil in the foil lined pan. Take each piece of fish and roll it into the olive oil to coat each piece of fish.

  4. Step 4

Coat each piece of fish with the Italian bread crumbs evenly.

  5. Step 5

Season the fish with salt to your taste, and then season with the Cajun seasoning. If you like your fish spicy and hot just add more Cajun seasoning. I usually drizzle a little more olive oil over the pieces of fish when all the seasoning is done.

  6. Step 6

Put just a small amount of lemon juice around each piece to take the smell out of the air while cooking the fish.

  7. Step 7

Cook for about 30 minutes. The time of cooking will depend on how thick your fillets of fish are, and if you completely thawed them ahead of time.
