How to Make a Yummy Greek Salad!

This is one of my all time favorite salads! This recipe makes enough for two generous servings. You can easily multiply the ingredients to serve as many as you like.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 2 large vine ripened tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber peeled
  • 12 (or more) olives (use either black or Greek olives)
  • 1 small red onion sliced
  • Course ground salt
  • Course or freshly ground pepper
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon oregano (use Greek oregano if you have it!)
  • Olive oil (about 1/3 cup)
  • Red wine vinegar (2-3 tablespoons)
  • Crumbled Feta cheese (to your liking)

Step1
Cut tomatoes and cucumber into bite size pieces and place in large bowl.
Step2
Add olives and onion slices. Sprinkle with oregano, and salt and pepper to taste.
Step3
Toss gently, and then divide salad into two large individual salad bowls.
Step4
Drizzle with olive oil and red wine vinegar. Top with Feta cheese and serve.

Tips & Warnings

  • The fresher the ingredients, the better the salad!
  • Warning! This salad can be addictive!
