Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Fresh veggies
  • Reptile light
  • Adequate caging
  1. Step 1

Construct adequate housing. Make sure that your iguana has enough room for how large he is.

  2. Step 2

Feed it fresh veggies that are particularly enjoyed by this species--plants like green pepper, any kind of greens, carrots, celery, squash and similar foods.

  3. Step 3

Clean its cage daily or every 2 days. Remove any waste with a damp cloth.

  4. Step 4

Maintain a functioning reptile light at all times. Allow enough room for the iguana to move freely around the light.

Tips & Warnings
  • When uncomfortable, they will smack with their large barbed tails.
  • Never use a regular lightbulb. Your iguana will go blind.
