Things You'll Need:
- Milk jug rings
- Pony tail holders
- Ribbon
- Yarn
- Paper
-
Step 1
Start in the kitchen. Look around and see what you can find that your cat will like (besides the food, of course). Got any milk jugs or juice jugs? Do they come with plastic rings? Cats love these. Wash them off and show them to kitty. I guarantee if kitty is playful, he/she will love these.
-
Step 2
Do you or your kids have pony tail holders that you don’t use? Do you also have some extra ribbon or yarn? Cut the ribbon and yarn into a two or three small strips. Tie the strips to a pony tail holder and you will be amazed how much fun kitty will have.
-
Step 3
Everyone has scrap paper. If you don’t think you do, just look through the mail and you will surely find a piece or two. Crumple these up and throw them towards kitty. Instant toy.
-
Step 4
Have any panty hose or hosiery with snags in them? Don’t throw them away; give them to kitty. Cut the panty part out of it. Now cut a piece of the leg. Roll into a ball. Sew the edges together; so the ball will stay formed. Watch kitty have fun. Of course, if they are dirty, wash them first.
