    Things You'll Need

    • The internet
    • An email account
    • Time to kill!
    • A bit of creativity

Sign up for paid email programs. While you won't make a lot of money this way, every little bit adds up. Some that I've used are: Hits4Pay, SendEarnings and InboxDollars.

Some of the paid email programs also offer paid survey opportunities. It does sometimes take a while to qualify for surveys, but one survey can pay anywhere from a dollar to twenty (and sometimes more!). Be aware when signing up for some of these programs though. Some are just scams and won't really pay you anything.

Do you shop online? Chances are you do. Sign up for MyPoints.com where you will get rewarded with points for every purchase or sometimes every dollar you spend online. While this isn't exactly money, you can use these points for gift certificates to your favorite places, that's almost like money!

Write copy. That is, write articles for different online companies. Believe me, you don't need a degree in Creative Writing to get paid for online articles. It does help though! :) This site, eHow.com and AssociatedContent.com are the two that I use primarily. There are others out there too. Just make sure to understand the Terms of Service. Do you retain copyright? How much are they really paying you? etc.

    Tips & Warnings

    • It will take time, be patient!

    • Find legitimate sources, there are lots of websites trying to take advantage of people who want to make money.

    • If you write articles, don't submit them exclusively to a website. Many times they can be tweaked, altered or repeated for submission on another website as well.
