Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Desire to get up
- Willingness to ask for help
- Willingness to accept help
- Desire to be happier
Step1
GET UP, GET OUT & GET HELP!
- Avoid the pitfalls by doing something.
- Keeping your mind busy can ease the pain.
- Avoid concentrating on the negative.
- Yeah it's easier but, nothing worth doing is that easy is it?
Step2
Don't let a little fall keep you from getting back up !
When your feeling like doing something bad. Do something else.
- Write poetry
- Go online and chat
- Stay positive
- Go Bowling
- Go for a walk
- Go talk to your best friends
Always ask for help.
- Once you don't and you do commit suicide you can't do anything.
- There is no shame in asking for help
- Always ignore the feelings of inadequacy.
- I know its hard but, you have to do it.
- Do things that make you feel better normally
- Don't get down on yourself if you don't do them as well.
Step3
Keep one thing in mind.
Life is worth more than the darkness.
You can overcome the pain.

on 1/14/2008 Also, get out and get some sunlight. Take a walk or a run, the endorphins that are released will help elevate your mood.
Also, get some blood work done. There are conditions that aggravate depression, such as Low (yes, I said Low) blood cholesterol, gluten allergy, and other mineral and vitamin deficiencies that can affect mood.

on 11/27/2007 Thanks for writing an article on this tough topic. I don't think enough people talk about it.
Surround yourself with people and vent if you need to.
You don't realize how many people you will hurt either. The pain of losing a loved one to suicide doesn't go away.
