Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
When you first purchase your cell phone, let your battery charge for at least five hours. Truth be told, you should really charge your cell phone for about 12 hours before you first use it. Your cell phone should be turned off during its first charge.
Step2
After the first charge, let your cell phone get all the way down to the last bar of power before charging it again.
Step3
Charge your cell phone after the battery is roughly 50 percent gone. Do this every time that your battery is below 50 percent.
Step4
Leave your cell phone plugged in all night. If you use your phone as an alarm clock you can still keep the phone turned on.
Step5
If you’re using your cell phone in the car, buy a special charger for your call and leave your cell phone plugged in while driving.
