How to Buzz Cut Your Own Hair

With head shaving becoming more and more popular, many people are choosing to buzz off their own hair. Here are some simple steps to let your head feel the cool breezes.

Things You'll Need:

• Hair clippers
• Number 1 hair clipper guide

1. Fit the guide onto the clipper. Turn the clipper on in the lowest setting if you have power settings.

2. Follow the contours of the head from front to back on the top, let the clippers cut the hair for you. Don't push down; rather, let the clipper head ride over the head.

3. On the sides of the head lift the clipper from back to front following the contour of the ear. This will catch all the hair on the side of the head and around the ear.

4. Lift the clippers from bottom to top in the back in order to get a uniform cut all around.

Tips & Warnings

• Don't bear down on the clippers, rather dip the clippers by lifting the back higher then the front and gliding along the head.
