How to Play Cake Mania

Cake Mania is a hugely popular and fun online game that has you as a bakery owner, baking and decorating cakes at a furious pace. There's lots of money to be made, but you've got to keep your customers happy and time is always against you. So come on, those cakes won't bake themselves!

1. Give a menu to every customer as quickly as you can. First impressions are very important. If you don't greet customers quickly, they will loose interest. If they loose interest, they will not give out as large a tip as they could have when their service is finished.

2. Try and get it right the first time. While the clock may be ticking, it's always worth taking a few extra seconds to make sure you're making the right cake for the right customer. It takes less time to do that than it does to bake an entirely new cake because you goofed one up.

3. Identify the customers who need extra-quick service. Certain types of people don't like to be kept waiting. Businesspeople in particular (the folks with suits and cell phones) require speedy service or they will quickly become irate and leave. While you may be able to take your time with other customers, don't neglect anyone.

4. Invest in upgrades when you can. As trite as a better TV may seem, it will help keep customers entertained on busy days. Investing in a cupcake oven is also a good idea. While keeping the cupcakes stocked is something else to occupy your already-hectic days, it will go the extra mile in keeping customers happy while they wait.

5. Download the game for more levels, upgrades and other goodies. There is also a sequel, Cake Mania 2, that you might try if you enjoyed the first game.
