How to Wax Knuckle Hair

Waxing is when you spread hot wax to an area, then rip it off, removing the hair and roots along with it. It's not appealing, but it can make a world of difference. Things You'll Need:

• Wax
• Paper strips
• Applicator
• Soothing lotion

1. Buy a wax hair removal kit from a beauty supply store. It will include a jar or tube of wax, an applicator stick, strips of paper and instructions.

2. Read the package instructions carefully. Note the amount of time the wax needs to be warmed.

3. Warm the wax as per the instructions on the box. Be careful when handling the hot jar or tube.

4. Dip the applicator stick into the wax and remove a small amount. Make a fist with the hand you're starting with. Apply the wax to your knuckles.

5. Smooth a paper strip onto the wax. Run your finger on top of the paper to make sure it's adhered to the wax. Quickly pull the paper off, in the opposite direction of hair growth.

6. Apply wax to another knuckle. Continue with the process until all your knuckles are hair-free.

7. Use a soothing lotion or cream afterward to make your skin recover.
