    Things You'll Need

    • 2 shades of green polymer clay
    • Paper clip
    • Sharp pencil
    • Oven
    • Baking sheet
      • 1

Combine the 2 clay colors by kneading them gently. Kneed the clay just enough for the 2 colors to stick together, imparting a swirly look to the clay.

      • 2

Roll the clay into three 1-inch balls. Form each ball into a heart shape. Push the points of all three hearts together until they stick.

      • 3

Set one end of a paper clip on the shamrock where the points connect. Leave the other end hanging from the shamrock like a stem. Put a small, flattened ball of clay on the first end of the shamrock and squish it in place.

Gently turn the shamrock over. Use a sharp pencil to make a center line in each heart.

      • 5

Bake the shamrock according to the clay manufacturer's instructions. Let the shamrock thoroughly cool.

      • 6

Slide the paper clip end onto a split key ring.
