Bath salt wedding favors are an uncommon but creative addition to any wedding party. Personalize your bath salt favors by packaging them to fit the theme or design of your wedding. These favors are inexpensive to make and will be enjoyed by all of your wedding guests.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Small glass jars or containers with lids
  • Bath salts
  • Iridescent or thin lace fabric
  • Scissors
  • 2-by-2 inch pieces of card stock or decorative paper
  • Hole punch
  • Ribbon
  1. Step 1

Purchase the bath salts at a craft store. They come in a variety of colors and scents. Choose colors that match the scheme of your wedding. Find the small glass jars or containers at craft stores. They also come in various sizes and shapes, such as hearts and butterflies. The best size for these jars is about 2 inches high. If you have more money to spend on the favors, buy larger containers.

  2. Step 2

Fill the small containers with bath salts.

  3. Step 3

Cover the bath salt favor jars with the fabric. Pull the fabric over the sides of the container to make a small bag. Cut the fabric to fit the jars. You may want to use fabric glue to make a small hem in the top of the fabric. This hem keeps it from fraying.

  4. Step 4

Write a small greeting on card stock or decorative paper. Personalize it with a message like "Thank you for coming to our wedding," or keep it simple with just the names of the bride and groom and the date of the wedding.

  5. Step 5

Punch a hole in the top of the papers. Slide the ribbon through the hole. Tie the ribbon around the top of the jar and the fabric. The ribbon should be 1/2-inch wide and coordinate with the rest of the wedding colors.
