1
Draw your rectangular- or square-shaped home on a piece of paper. Do this for all floors. If your house is an odd shape, choose the shape it most closely resembles and draw your home within this shape. For example, if your house is an "L" shape, it is most similar to a rectangle. Draw the rectangle first and then draw the "L" shape of your home inside the rectangle.

2
Sketch in the rooms. Once the basic shape of your home is drawn, sketch in where the rooms are located. Do this for each floor.
-
-
3
Separate your sketches into nine equal areas. These areas are the "Gua" sections of your home.
-
4
Label the first Gua row. Starting from the viewpoint from in front of your home, find the northwest corner of your home on your map. Moving from left to right, label the top row on your Bagua map as follows: Wealth and Prosperity, Fame and Reputation, and Love and Marriage.
-
5
Identify the second Gua row. From left to right, label the second Gua row as follows: Health and Family, Center, and Children and Creativity.
-
6
Mark the third Gua row. From left to right, label the third Gua row as follows: Knowledge and Self Cultivation, Career and Helpful People, and Travel.
