Things You’ll Need:

  • Flash Drive
Step1
Locate the data for transfer on Computer A. Note the size of the data files because you want to select a flash drive with sufficient capacity to hold your data.
Step2
USB Flash Drive Insert your USB flash drive into the port on Computer A. In your data file select Save As from the File menu and save the data to the flash drive location (drive D or E, for example).
Step3
When the data transfer is completed, remove the flash drive from Computer A and insert it into the appropriate USB port on Computer B.
Step4
If a notice that the flash drive is in place does not pop up automatically, select My Computer, locate the flash drive, and open it.
Step5
Select the file you want to save to Computer B and open it from the flash drive. Click Save As from the File menu and send the file to the C drive on Computer B.
