Looking for a unique gift? Or how about a fast project you can complete in just a few nights? This crocheted scarf, using eyelash yarn, is the perfect project. Best of all, you can customize it to fit your desired use. Here's how to make it using only a chain and double crochet stitch.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Hook size: H/8
  • Eyelash yarn (any color): 2-3 (50g) skeins
  1. Step 1
Use eyelash yarn in your choice of color.

Use eyelash yarn in your choice of color.

    Stitches used:

    Chain stitch: ch
    Double crochet: db

  2. Step 2

Chain 25 stitches as the base chain to start. However, if you will be using the scarf as a dressy item, decrease this to 15. Conversely, if you'd like to wear it as a winter scarf and cover your nose and mouth, increase to 35-40. You have the ability to customize the width in this very first step. It will not affect the rest of the pattern.

  3. Step 3

In the third chain from hook, make a db. *ch 1, skip one chain stitch, db into next stitch. Repeat from * to end, making sure you end with a db.

  4. Step 4

PATTERN: From here on out, the pattern will remain the same:

Ch3, *skip chain stitch, db into db stitch in row below, ch1. Repeat from * to end of row, again making sure you end with a db. Turn. Repeat until scarf reaches length you desire.

Tips & Warnings
