How to Set up a chat room on your website

Want to add live chat to your website see if people are on your page and talking about your products, for free.

Things You’ll Need:

• Internet
• Webhost/website
• Computer

1. Hey All,
   
   1: First thing you will need to do is create your website.
   
   Now that the basics are done you can add and edit to your website respectively one thing you can add is a chat section to your site.
2. 2: Once the site is created you then need a domain such www.yourname.com
   
   3: This would be provided by you or a web host engine. The web host engine is probably easier, since it is all set up for you, and you just have to upload your pages.
3. 4: Now that your website is up and running let's go ahead and add the chat feature.
4. Chat SetUp 5: You will now want free web add on for your site.
   
   Search yahoo or google for add free chat to my website. See picture of the one I used before I changed it.
5. Chat code 6: in my example once the information is filled out, click "create chat" at the bottom. From there it will provide you with the JAVA code for your chat room respective to your site.
6. You then paste in the code to your web page where you want your chat.
   
   You can also make your chat it's own page by placing the code in one html file. and uploading that to adjoin to your website, so when someone clicks on the chat link. They go right to your chat page.

Tips & Warnings

• Always check your code before uploading to your page.
• Make backups of roginal wen files so as to not voerwrite anything on accident(THIS TIP FROM EXPERINCE...OOPS)
