How to Play the Baseball Drinking Game

What better way to celebrate a post-baseball game party than to play a baseball drinking game? The game involves throwing quarters in shot glasses to score runs. Of course, as in any drinking game, expect to get tipsy if you are on the losing team.

Instructions

1. Fill four shot glasses with beer. Set the shot glasses in a line on a table. Divide the players into two teams. It's best to play the baseball drinking game with a minimum of four people.

2. Have the teams set batting lineups. These lineups should be used throughout the game so that everyone bats in turn.

3. Stand at the edge of the table so that you are facing the glasses when it is your turn to bat. The glass closest to you represents a single, the next glass is a double, the third is a triple and the furthest glass from you is a home run.

4. Try to toss a quarter into one of the glasses. If you make a shot into one of the glasses, you are awarded the hit associated with that glass. For example, if you make it into the closest glass, you have hit a single and your team has a runner on first base.

5. Choose a person to drink the glass that has the quarter if you are on the opposing team. Members from the opposing team must also drink all the glasses below the one the person made a shot into. For example, if the person hit a triple, the opposing team must drink third base, second base and first base.

6. Refill the glasses each time they go empty.

7. Continue play like regular baseball, with three failed throwing attempts equaling three outs. If there are runners on base when a player gets a hit, the runners all move up the number of bases that the batter hit. For example, if there is a runner on first and third and someone hits a single, the runner scores from third and the runner on first bases moves to second base.

8. Tally up the score at the conclusion of nine innings. The losing team must drink the remaining glasses.
