One of the great features of Photoshop Elements is that it allows you to create and edit slide shows to show off your photos. This project is a fun way to display certain groups of photos when you are entertaining. For instance, you can run a slide show of baby pictures while you're throwing a baby shower. Follow these steps to create a slide show using Elements.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Find the Slide Show Wizard. When you open Photoshop Elements, select "Make Photo Creations." Then, choose "Slide Show" and click "OK." This will start the Slide Show Wizard, a handy feature designed to walk you through the project step by step.

  2. Step 2

Take it slow; you're new to this. Start with a simple slide show until you get more comfortable with the project. Then you can move up to a custom slide show, which includes music, transitions and text features.

  3. Step 3

Add photos. Select the photos you want to use from the photos selection catalog. With photos selected, click "OK" to review the layout. You can drag and drop the photos you've selected to change the order. Clicking "Add Photos" brings you back to the photos catalog to choose more. Go back and forth until you have all the photos you want and they're arranged in the desired sequence.

  4. Step 4

Save and view. Click "Save" and you'll be prompted to name your project. Once it's saved, you can view the slide show. Since the project is now saved, you can access it through Photoshop Elements and make changes to it by choosing the Edit option on the right side of your screen.
