Magic the Gathering is a card game based around the fantasy world Dominaria, which is ruled by the elements red, black, green, blue and white. Each color uses its own fantasy creatures and unique style of play to create a winning strategy. White, or plains cards, focus on protective magic and healing. While each individual player must develop their own unique tactics, a few tips can help you win with white.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Strive for community, peace and harmony, as white's ultimate goal is to win with utopia in Dominaria. Instead of seeking to destroy your opponents, try to eliminate evil using your vast array of creatures and flyers. White has the most powerful eliminator in Magic the Gathering, "The Wrath of God," so use your power well and win.

  2. Step 2

Cast your wide range of protection spells to pave your way to victory. Send your weenies out first, followed by your flyers in order to gain more life, eliminate threats and protect yourself to ensure a win. White is blessed with numerous "first strikers," which can make it difficult for other colors to gather their forces.

  3. Step 3

Keep access to your defending spells, as removal is your weakness. Black, red, and even green's bigger creatures can easily wipe you out if you are trapped without a defending spell to protect yourself.

  4. Step 4

Know your enemies and how they work together to further protect yourself and increase your chances for winning Magic the Gathering. Black and Red are your greatest enemies, and have powerful weapons of destruction at their disposal. Combine your magic with green and blue to strengthen your ability to face the forces of black and red.
