Step 1
Buy a sprint car. Check out racer-net.com which is a website where people can buy and sell used or new race cars. Make sure to have the car inspected before purchase to assure you aren't buying a lemon.
-
Step 2
Learn the basic of racing sprint cars. You can learn from an experienced sprint car racer or you can attend a sprint car racing school. These schools can be expensive but if you want a career in racing it is worth the cost.
-
Step 3
Ask businesses to sponsor your sprint race car. This will help cover the costs of races and repairs to your car. Sponsoring will also benefit the businesses because you're advertising in the community.
-
Step 4
Complete an entrance form for the race in which you want to participate. You can find the forms on the race track's website. Mail or fax the form when it is completed.
-
Step 5
Use a trailer to move the race car to the track. Most race cars aren't street legal and it is wear and tear on your car. Race your sprint car.
