Sit quietly and focus on meditation; center yourself and your breathing. Hold the deck in your hand and visualize the question or problem that you want to be answered through your reading.

Shuffle the cards, stop only when you feel as though the cards have been sufficiently shuffled. Cut the cards three times using your right hand and pick them up with the opposite hand.
