Step 1
Find the schedule for a wheelchair basketball game in your area by contacting your local YMCA to see if they have a wheelchair basketball league. If that isn't fruitful, visit the National Wheelchair Basketball Association website and look over the schedule of upcoming games. Another website to check for a wheelchair basketball schedule is the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation. See Resources below for website links.

Step 2
Select a game to attend. Be prepared to pay for a ticket at the door. While not all wheelchair basketball games charge admission, a good percentage of them do. If you are interested in bringing food or drinks to the game, contact the gym to see if that is allowed.
-
Step 3
Arrive at the game early to give yourself time to find a good seat and read over the game's program. The program tells you about the teams that are playing and the players on each team.
-
Step 4
Cheer as you normally would at other basketball games. Wheelchair basketball players enjoy a cheering crowd just like other basketball players and don't want to be treated differently just because of their disability.
