Juno is an inexpensive Internet service provider that gives customers POP email addresses along with the ability to check their email away from their home computer. Juno's Internet service includes a connection commitment, pop-up blocker, email spam protection and free Norton Anti-Virus.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Open your email POP program. An email POP program is a program like Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora or Windows Mail. Open your program by selecting "Email" from your "Start" menu or by clicking the icon for the program on your computer's desktop.

  2. Step 2

Setup your email account under the "Email Accounts" option. Follow the directions and add in the appropriate information that Juno provides to you. Click "Send and Receive" to check new emails. At this point the emails move from the web server to your computer. Choose to "Save," "Delete" or "Add" emails to the "Junk Email" list.

  3. Step 3

Check your email online by going to Juno.com. Log in with your user name and password in the spaces provided.

  4. Step 4

Click the "Check Email" button to receive new emails. Juno.com allows you to read emails, compose emails, reply to emails and forward emails just like you do with any other email program.

  5. Step 5

Set your personal preferences and settings while logged into Juno.com just as you did in your POP email program.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are away from your computer for a long span of time, shut down your email program so it doesn't automatically check for new emails. This allows you to check your email on the web during your time away from home.
  • If you are using a public computer such as at the library or computer lab, never click the "Automatically Remember Password" option.
