Fall in love with apples.
Go Apple Picking. If you are looking for something different to do, this is it! Just as the air gets crisp, spend the afternoon with nature picking apples. You can then bring them home and make a warm apple dessert perfect for the fall season.
Step2
Festive fall season decorations.
Visit a Pumpkin Patch. Halloween and Thanksgiving are both in fall, so pumpkins can be used again and again. Whether you want to take one home to decorate or make pumpkin pie, enjoy the orange Autumn colors that nature provides us.
Step3
Fall flowers in the making.
Plant Bulbs in a Garden. Rumor has it that the fall season is the best time to plant bulbs. If you have a family member or friend who can't make it outdoors this year, ask if she would like some bulbs planted. This is a gift that will keep on giving, especially when they bloom!
Step4
Fall is a cozy season, so cuddle up!
New Fall Season Shows. Whether it is a favorite sitcom or sport you have been waiting to see, you can kick off the new fall season line up by gathering close friends for a night of drama, drinks and discussion.
Step5
Football season is upon us.
Fall Season Sports. Football, soccer, field hockey, cross country, and indoor volleyball are some of the favorite fall sports. Go to a live game or put together a few people for flag football in the leaves.
Step6
Add a new scarf, hat or bag to your fall season style.
Fall Fashion As you begin to pack away the tiny clothes of summer, fall calls for your favorite knits, denims and light wools. Even if you aren't a slave to fashion, enjoy finding out what the fall season styles are and mix at least one new piece into your wardrobe, just for fun.

Reading this article taps into so many different senses. Fall is my favorite season. Even as leaves begin to depart from the trees, they give us such beautiful colors first. I break out my favorite clothes in the fall season...as well as a few new ones with the back to school shopping. I am not a student going back to school anymore, but being a teacher is close enough.

Nothing beats fall fashion. I go back-to-school shopping every year even though it's been a decade since my school days. This year I bought a navy blue military-style wool coat, only mine has girly ruffles. I also bought a pair of knee-high red boots.
Another thing worth mentioning: Fall is the season of transition. As we move toward winter it's a great time to go inward, to reflect on your life, to identify what changes you'd like to see in the coming months. Remember how those back-to-school days always felt like a new beginning? Fall is the perfect time for reflecting, goal-setting and recapturing a sense of purpose in life.
