  1. Step 1

Read the instruction manual to learn how to use your camcorder to get the best shots. Familiarize yourself with the role of each function button. On the right side of the camcorder body you'll find the switch that lets you go between the auto and program modes. Below the LCD screen, you'll find the four buttons that control such things as zoom in/out and start/stop recording functions.

  2. Step 2

Put in the BP-2L13 battery pack. Make sure it is new or charged up so the camcorder won't stop recording at a critical moment. Carry an extra battery pack for emergencies in case one is faulty. Take the charger and an extra battery pack on long trips such as vacations so you're always be ready for those special times.

  3. Step 3

Connect your camcorder directly to a printer using the USB cable that comes with the camcorder. This allows you to print your pictures or transfer them to your computer. Press the print/share button located on the body of the camera and it's done for you.

  4. Step 4

Edit and share your video. Use the STV-250 N stereo video cable to connect to your computer and upload your recorded material. Install the Digital Video Solution Disk to re-format and edit your still pictures and video. You can send them by email to your friends and loved ones.
