How to Build a Grocery End Display With Multiple Products
Success in any business is all about attractively advertising one's products to the potential consumer. In a retail business like a grocery store, how dry goods, produce and other food products are displayed can make a big difference. One way to do this is by building grocery end displays that attract the consumer's eye. Here are some tips for building a grocery end display with multiple products.

1
Create a theme. Grouping several related products together not only adds variety to your display, it also shows shoppers the versatility of the products. During football season, pair items traditionally eaten during the big game, such as chips or nachos and salsa and dip, with football-shaped disposable plates or beer whose manufacturers are offering a chance to win a trip to the championship. Dress up Christmas end displays by pairing foods likely to be included in the Christmas dinner, like stuffing mixes or cranberries with Christmas meat and cheese baskets or holiday candies.

2
Vary sizes to attract attention and add variety to your end display. If all the products in the end display are the same size and shape, such as a display featuring canned vegetables, the display appears one-dimensional and boring. Instead, intersperse large cans with smaller ones, round with oblong ones, cans with glass jars or add some fresh vegetables to your display to break up the uniformity of the cans. Making sure that all the items in your end display are a different size makes the display appear 3-dimensional and lively.

Give it some color. There is a famous saying among chefs and restaurant owners that people eat with their eyes first and then their stomachs. The more color and dimension your display uses, the more attention it will attract and the more appealing it will be to your shoppers. Choose products that are several different colors or, if most of the products you need to display are of a similar color, choose a backdrop that is bright and colorful.

4
Make it accessible. A lot of the shoppers who will see your display will be senior citizens, parents shopping with small children or busy people with just a few moments to shop. For this reason, everything in your end display must be easily accessible. Make sure that all the products in your display are easy to reach. If additional products are not regularly stocked in a nearby aisle, add a sign to tell the shopper where they can find the product to make their shopping easier.

Change it up. New end displays and new products are just as appealing to potential shoppers as fresh bread in the bakery so change your end displays often. Alternate monthly or seasonally or as you acquire new products that you want to advertise. End displays that feature weekly specials are also a good marketing tool.
