Most nudist are very welcoming to new members who want to experience the lifestyle. However, going nude in public can be a daunting proposition if you've never done it before. Get Ready to Take Your Virgin Voyage into Public Nudity

1. Choose an appropriate location for your first time experiencing public nudity. You don't want to be too brazen on your initial naked excursion. Find a spot that's relatively private, where you won't be disturbed by the presence of a lot of strangers or attract the attention of the police.
2. Prepare by making a few naked practice runs in front of your friends. Select two or three friends you feel especially comfortable with and who are supportive of your endeavors. You might want to make a game of it, such as strip poker, so that you won't be the only one going nude.
3. Take stock of how you feel about your body. Nudists come in all shapes and sizes. However, you're less likely to be comfortable with public nudity your first time out if you think you need to lose weight or tighten up your rear end. Prepare by whipping yourself into shape so you can go nude in public with confidence.
4. Wander around a clothing-optional resort in a bathrobe. You'll get the chance to see other people being nude in public without having to get naked yourself. This will help you become more comfortable with the concept of public nudity.
5. Recruit a friend to go naked with you. You're much more likely to go through with it if you have a comrade in arms.
6. Keep your clothes handy. If it's your first time being nude in public, you may not be comfortable being that way for very long. On the other hand, if your clothes are nearby, it may actually increase your confidence to stay naked longer, knowing you could get dressed right away if you wanted to.
