Cellulite is dimples that appear on the skin, usually on the hips and thighs. Many people call cellulite cottage cheese, since it looks like cottage cheese beneath the skin. Cellulite is fat deposits and build-up of toxins beneath the skin. If you have cellulite, there are some things you can do reduce the appearance, though you probably can't get rid of it completely.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Change your diet and exercise routine. A great way to rid yourself of cellulite or reduce the appearance is with a healthy diet full of whole grains and fruits and vegetables. Eating foods high in Vitamin C and bioflavonoids may help too. In addition, make sure you exercise at least half an hour a day.

  2. Step 2

Try Aloe Vera cream. Many people report using a good Aloe Vera cream twice a day helps reduce the appearance of cellulite.

  3. Step 3

Quit smoking. Many smokers have large concentrations of cellulite, making researchers think there may be a connection between smoking and cellulite.

  4. Step 4

Drink lots of water. Since toxins in your body are part of the reason you have cellulite, drinking plenty of water will help flush the toxins from your body.

  5. Step 5

Cut caffeine from your diet. Unfortunately, one of the toxins in cellulite appears to be from caffeine. However, many anti-cellulite creams use caffeine. Caffeine if applied to the outside of skin may help reduce cellulite. Rubbing coffee grinds on cellulite is a popular choice for many people, though researchers question its efficacy.

  6. Step 6

Talk to your care provider. There are surgical ways to deal with cellulite, such as liposuction. Your doctor may have other ideas about your diet and exercise regime that may help you get rid of your cellulite.
